The Laurel Wreath: My Integrity Project

Creating a blog solely dedicated to Personal Progress, LDS Youth life, and sharing what it's like to be part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has always been the ultimate dream for me. I found the perfect opportunity to finally make it happen through Personal Progress. I was looking for an Integrity Project and thus, The Laurel Wreath was born.

"For centuries the laurel wreath has been a crown woven from the leaves of the laurel tree. It is given to someone who finishes a significant achievement as a symbol of honor and accomplishment. Laurels today are finishing their preparation to make and keep sacred covenants and receive the ordinances of the temple."
Young Women Classes and Symbols

I chose making a blog as my Integrity project because it's a way to show the world that I love Jesus Christ, Heavenly Father, and being a Christian (LDS). It's a place where I can be truly honest and stop myself from bending standards for others to approve.

I love putting "daughter of a Heavenly King" in description boxes, but since almost none of my friends got it and most of the time I was afraid they'd think I was pretentious, I never really put that. Well, I'm putting it here anyway. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have an older brother and a younger sister, a beautiful & inspiration mom, and a cool hard-working dad.

I love to write and read, I love trees (but hate creepy crawlies, no offense), I love the Harry Potter series with a passion, there's a special place in my heart for hand lettering, typography, and calligraphy, I listen to a LOT of music, and my favorite color is green.
