Good Works # 2 UPDATE!

Yay an update! I've tried to help during the meals, but I want to share my experience in doing one desert that I did all by myself. It's very basic and relatively easy, but I honestly had a hard time! Haha! I seriously have 0 points for cooking, but well, I try.

An Open Letter: Dating

To the 14 year-old Andrea:

When I turned 16 this month, it wasn't the food, or the party, or the long birthday messages that got stuck in my head. Don't get me wrong, I am very grateful for how my birthday went. But there was one phrase that got stuck in my head, one of my church friends said it:
"Uy, 16 ka na! Dating!"
(Hey, you're already 16! Dating!)

April 19th: Seminary & Institute Graduation

The end of a school year also marks the end of another seminary course! And this year's course was Doctrine & Covenants. This is my 2nd year in seminary and to be very honest, it was very, very hard work to pass. Unlike all the other wards, we participated in *weekly* seminary, which means we have to answer a home-study manual. Due to a *very* busy school schedule, I was always late with my manual and more often than not, I missed a lot of units. And trust me, it was one of my biggest regrets.

Good Works Value Experience # 2

Finally, the first value experience I'll be sharing! It's under Good Works and is one of the required value experiences.

A word on Good Works, as you may (or may not) have noticed on my tracking sheet, Good Works is the value with the lowest stars or the least number of value experiences done. I'm going to be really honest and confess that I have a little problem with service. Don't get me wrong, I love serving! The feeling if being able to help other sons and daughters of Heavenly Father feels amazing. But sometimes I can get really lazy and that hinders me from serving. It's something I *really* have to work on and I'm glad Personal Progress is a way I can do that.

Anyway, sorry for rambling. Let's carry on to the value experience.

My Personal Progress Tracking Sheet (at the moment)

Before I begin posting about the Value Experiences I'm currently on, I would like to share my progress first.

I've been working on my Personal Progress ever since 2012 and here's my progress chart:
